In accordance with ADCES' Identify, Configure, Collaborate (ICC) framework, DCESs are playing an increasingly critical role in the identification of the right diabetes technology for the right person at the right time in their journey to self-manage their diabetes. Today's insulin delivery devices, from patch pumps to smart pens and automated insulin delivery systems can help people overcome common management challenges and disease burden. It's incumbent upon DCESs to be up to date on all of the available insulin delivery devices as well as having the perspective of how these devices will likely evolve over time and how these devices are reviewed and cleared or approved by the FDA. All topics will be covered in this session.
