T'ara is a nutritionist, diabetes advocate, writer, and aspiring diabetes care and education specialist. T'ara was misdiagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2017 and re-diagnosed with LADA diabetes in 2020. T'ara serves as the Senior Project Manager of Beyond Type 2. She’s also a diabetes care specialist at 9am Health.
