Diabetes technology may call to mind innovative devices, such as pumps, monitors, pens and meters, that enhance the quality of life for people already living with diabetes. But technological innovation also has a place for those with prediabetes as well as for the clinicians, coordinators and coaches who support them to prevent or delay T2D. In this session, we will explore technology that provides a digital assist to DCESs to monitor participant data, and group metrics, as well as mid-tech and high-tech options for people managing their prediabetes. As options for prediabetes care grow, we will discuss how DCESs can find the right fit between program participants and technology options.
