It’s an exciting time in diabetes with several technologies available or on the horizon. Advances in technology offer exciting new choices for insulin pumps, connected “smart” pens, continuous glucose monitors (CGM) and automated insulin delivery systems. These technologies have shown dramatic effects on glycemic management and time in range. This presentation will provide a practical, real-world approach to what the DCES needs to know about new technologies and how to optimize the use of these technologies to maximize the impact on time in range.
