Minorities in the U.S. are affected by diabetes at significantly greater rates compared to non‐Hispanic whites. In this session, attendees will learn strategies for the delivery of culturally competent care from our panelists who represent five ethnic groups. Each panelist will describe their personal journey towards a plant-based diet while incorporating ethnic foods and show how their success led to a more culturally inclusive evidence-based practice.
